  • 1.5 lbs Springer Mountain Farms chicken breast portions Approximately 4 oz portions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For coating chicken
Seasoning Mix
  • 0.75 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1.75 tsp salt
  • 1.25 tsp paprika Smoked paprika can be used for a different flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and paprika. Stir until evenly blended.
  3. Add olive oil to the chicken and toss until evenly coated. Sprinkle seasoning mix over the chicken and rub it in well.
  4. Brush the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
Cooking
  1. Air fry at 380°F for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for another 10 minutes.
  2. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer; it should read 165°F.
  3. Let the chicken rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing or serving.

Notes

You can brine the chicken for 15-30 minutes to enhance juiciness, or marinate it in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs for added flavor. If you don’t have an air fryer, sear the chicken in a skillet and finish in the oven.
