Cream Cheese Topping
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Fruit Toppings
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 large banana, sliced

Method

Preparation

  2. In a bowl, combine the sugar cookie mix, softened butter, and egg. Mix well until all ingredients are integrated.
  3. Press the cookie dough evenly into a pizza pan or large baking sheet to form a circular crust.
  4. Bake according to the package instructions until the crust is golden brown. Let it cool completely after baking.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
  7. Arrange the sliced strawberries and blueberries on top of the cream cheese to create an American flag design.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Freeze not recommended due to texture changes of the fruit and creamy topping.
