Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
For the filling
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream For the whipped cream layer.
For the decoration
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced Arranged in the shape of the flag.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Arranged in the shape of the flag.

Method
 

Crust Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your 9x13 inch pan to form a solid crust.
Filling Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
Assembly
  1. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  2. Arrange sliced strawberries and blueberries on top to create the American flag design.
Chilling and Serving
  1. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or until fully set. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. You can also freeze the cheesecake without the fruit topping for up to 2 months.
