- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if you prefer a warm sandwich.
- Slice your croissants in half horizontally and place them on a baking sheet.
- Mix the softened goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon in a small bowl until well combined.
- Spread the goat cheese mixture evenly on both halves of the croissants.
- Layer the thin apple slices generously over the goat cheese.
- Add a handful of fresh arugula on top if desired.
- Close the sandwich and place it in the oven for about 5 minutes, just until warmed and slightly toasted. Alternatively, you can enjoy it cold.
- Slice in half and serve immediately for a tasty delight.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider using herb-infused goat cheese. Stale croissants won't provide the same delightful texture. For an extra crunch, add some chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans.
