- In a mixing bowl, combine spices: paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture generously all over the chicken drumsticks, coating them evenly.
Baking
- Place the seasoned drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Using a basting brush, brush the drumsticks with BBQ sauce.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, checking for doneness with a meat thermometer (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
- Baste with more sauce during the last 10 minutes of cooking for extra flavor.
Serving
- Remove drumsticks from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with side dishes like coleslaw, corn on the cob, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
