Ingredients
  

For the Blueberry Compote
  • ¾ cup ¾ cup fresh or frozen blueberries Frozen blueberries can be used directly from the bag.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon lemon juice Adds brightness.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon honey or optional honey for sweetness Optional, use for extra sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon chia seeds Optional, for texture and fiber.
For the Yogurt Base
  • cups 1½ cups plain Greek yogurt Choose 2% or full-fat for creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Alternative sweetener for taste.
  • ½ teaspoon ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Blueberry Compote
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, lemon juice, and optional honey. Cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring frequently until softened.
  2. Mash lightly with a spoon for a jam-like consistency. Remove from heat and stir in chia seeds if using, then let cool completely.
Make the Yogurt Base
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and honey until smooth. Adjust sweetness as necessary.
  2. If yogurt is too thick, stir in 1–2 teaspoons of milk for better consistency.
Assemble the Bites
  1. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of yogurt mixture into each cavity of the silicone tray.
  2. Top with ½ teaspoon of cooled blueberry compote and swirl gently with a toothpick.
Freeze
  1. Place tray flat in the freezer and allow bites to set for at least 2 hours.
Serve & Store
  1. Carefully remove bites from the mold and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
  2. Let sit at room temperature for 2–4 minutes before serving for the best texture.

Notes

These bites can be customized with different fruits and toppings. Store in an airtight container for up to 1–2 months.
