Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings Fresh or thawed if previously frozen
Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (preferrably halal) Adjust heat level as desired
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter Melt for sauce preparation
Seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning the wings
Serving Optional
  • to taste celery sticks and carrot sticks Optional for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the wings with salt and pepper, tossing to season evenly.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned wings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping midway.
  2. While the wings bake, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then add the buffalo sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Remove wings from the oven, then coat them in the buffalo sauce mixture, tossing until well coated.
  4. For an extra crispy finish, return wings to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, optionally with celery and carrot sticks.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat by baking at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
