  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef for a better texture.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American) Freshly shredded cheese works best for melt.
Pretzel ingredients
  • 1 can refrigerated pretzel dough Convenient for quick preparation.
  • 1 egg beaten egg (for egg wash)
  • to taste coarse sea salt (for topping)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the beef and mix well.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted.
  6. Roll out the pretzel dough and cut it into 2–3 inch squares.
  7. Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger filling in the center of each square.
  8. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
Baking
  1. Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Serve warm with dipping sauces like ketchup or mustard.

Notes

For a more authentic pretzel crust, briefly dip sealed bombs in a baking-soda solution before baking. You can also use different meats or cheese for variations.
