Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) as per tater tot package instructions.
- Spread tater tots on a baking tray and cook for about 18-25 minutes until crispy. Alternatively, use an air fryer for 12-15 minutes.
- While the tots are cooking, in a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoned with salt and pepper until no pink remains.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked tater tots, browned beef, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and nacho cheese sauce, folding gently to combine.
Assembly
- Lay out tortillas and scoop the filling down the center. Leave space at the ends to roll.
- Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly, placing the seam side down on a lined baking sheet.
Baking
- For extra crispiness, bake the wraps seam-side down at 375°F for 8-12 minutes until golden.
- Alternatively, crisp them in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side.
Serving
- Serve warm with sour cream, salsa, guacamole, or pico de gallo.
Notes
Mix crispy tots gently to maintain their structure. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
