Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) with the oven rack in the center position.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, mozzarella, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated.
- Shape mixture into sticks about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide. Wet hands slightly to prevent sticking.
Baking
- Place cheese sticks on a lined baking sheet. Spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, until golden brown and cheese begins to bubble. Switch to broiler for extra crispiness, if desired.
Notes
For texture, pulse cottage cheese in a blender if preferred. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, and reheat in the oven or air fryer.
