Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Steam or blanch broccoli until just tender, about 1-2 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, drained broccoli, chopped turkey bacon, minced garlic, mozzarella, cheddar, and ranch dressing.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar on top.
Baking
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the center is hot and the top is bubbly.
- Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can roast the broccoli before adding it to the casserole. This casserole can be made ahead up to the point of adding the topping.
