Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
Mix-ins
  • 1 cup pastel M&M’s Regular M&M’s can be substituted if pastel colors are unavailable.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Can reduce to 1/2 cup for less sweetness.
  • ½ cup sprinkles Brightly colored sprinkles add festive flair.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour mixture.
  6. Fold in the M&M’s, white chocolate chips, and sprinkles.
Baking
  1. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets.
  2. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For variations, consider adding citrus zest, swapping chocolate chips for nuts, or creating a melting marble look with white chocolate. Store baked cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
