Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Use full-fat for creaminess.
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey Use a granulated sweetener if preferred.
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder Dutch-processed yields deeper flavor.
  • ½ tsp baking powder Optional for lift.
  • 1 pinch salt
Toppings (optional)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips For topping.

Method
 

Preheat and Prepare
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment or grease with butter or nonstick spray.
Combine Wet Ingredients
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, eggs, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add Dry Ingredients
  1. Stir in cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until combined.
Transfer to the Pan
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Add Toppings
  1. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top or press nuts into the batter.
Bake
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick.
Cool and Slice
  1. Let cool on a wire rack for at least 20-30 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For a lighter texture, consider adding a scoop of protein powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
