Ingredients

For the Pretzel Rods
  • 12 pieces Pretzel rods
  • 1 cup Creamy white candy melts
  • 1 cup Red candy melts
  • 1 cup Blue candy melts
  • 1 cup Sprinkles (patriotic theme)

Method

Preparation
  1. Melt the white candy melts according to the package instructions, ensuring they are completely smooth for easy dipping.
  2. Dip each pretzel rod into the melted white candy, coating each rod well, and then place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet to catch any drips.
  3. Melt the red and blue candy melts separately, following the same method as before, until they are smooth.
  4. Drizzle or dip the pretzel rods with the red and blue candy melts for a festive look. You can use a spoon or a piping bag for more control.
  5. Immediately sprinkle with patriotic-themed sprinkles while the candy melts are still wet, allowing the sprinkles to stick.
  6. Allow the pretzel rods to cool and harden completely before serving. This usually takes about 30 minutes at room temperature or can be sped up in the refrigerator.

Notes

If you want to add extra flavor, consider sprinkling a touch of sea salt on the white chocolate before it hardens. Experiment with additional toppings such as crushed nuts or mini chocolate chips for added texture and taste. Make sure to keep your melted candy at a low temperature to prevent it from hardening too quickly. Store the pretzel rods in an airtight container for up to a week.
