Ingredients

Ingredients for Candied Grapes
  • 4 cups green grapes (cleaned) Use firm grapes for better texture.
  • 1 cup Monk Fruit Sweetener (granulated) Can substitute with granulated sugar if preferred.
  • 2 limes (juiced) The juice helps the sweetener to stick.
  • 2-3 tsp citric acid (optional) Add more to taste for a sour flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cover a large baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Clean the grapes thoroughly.
  3. Place the clean grapes in a large bowl along with the juice from 2 limes and mix gently. Allow to sit in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Coating
  1. Transfer the Monk Fruit sweetener and citric acid into a medium bowl.
  2. Remove the grapes from the fridge and roll each grape into the monk fruit mixture, ensuring each grape is fully coated.
  3. Transfer the coated grapes onto the parchment paper and freeze for 2-3 hours.

Notes

Serve straight from the freezer and allow to sit for 1-2 minutes if too hard to bite. Store in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 2 months. Do not refreeze after thawing.
