Pasta Ingredients
  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine) Swapping for penne or linguine is also an option.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Use unsalted butter for better control over seasoning.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic provides the best flavor.
  • 1 pound chicken breasts Boneless, skinless breasts are recommended.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Parmesan cheese, grated For serving.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing Garlic and Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6–7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and slice it.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In the same skillet, add the cooked pasta and toss it in the garlic butter sauce.
  2. Serve the pasta topped with sliced chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

For a creamier version, emulsify a quick sauce using a blender or immersion blender. Reserve pasta water to loosen the sauce if necessary.
