Preparation
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add broccoli florets and cook until tender, about 3–4 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat in the garlic cream sauce.
- Add red pepper flakes or Parmesan if desired.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days. Freeze portions for up to 2 months; for best results, add fresh broccoli when reheating.
