  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Choose your preferred flavor (sweet, tangy, spicy).
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For seasoning the chicken.

  • to taste Garlic powder Optional seasoning.
  • to taste Onion powder Optional seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
Grilling
  1. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, checking for doneness at an internal temperature of 165°F.
  2. During the last few minutes, brush barbecue sauce onto the chicken.
Serving
  1. Remove chicken from grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months. Marinate chicken in advance for enhanced flavor.
