Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill them for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
- While the chicken is grilling, toast the sandwich buns on the grill until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Once the chicken is cooked and the buns are toasted, place the grilled chicken on the bottom half of each bun.
- Add a slice of cheese on top of each chicken breast, followed by two slices of crispy bacon.
- On the top half of the buns, layer some lettuce and tomato slices. Spread mayonnaise or your preferred sauce.
- Close the sandwiches with the top bun and serve hot.
Notes
For leftovers, store grilled chicken separately from sandwiches. Refrigerate chicken for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months. Prepare chicken and bacon in advance for quick assembly later.
