Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • ΒΌ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless chicken thighs
  • green onions, for garnish
  • cooked rice, for serving
  • vegetables, for side dishes

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, and rice vinegar.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are completely coated. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through.
  3. Once cooked, allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Serving
  1. Serve the slices over a bed of cooked rice and accompany with grilled vegetables on the side. Garnish with green onions.

Notes

Leftover Grilled Korean BBQ Chicken can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For longer storage, you can freeze the marinated chicken thighs before grilling.
