Ingredients

For the Food
  • 2 cups Fresh vegetables (such as tomatoes, spinach, or peppers) Chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb Halal chicken or other halal protein Cut into pieces
  • 1 cup Fresh herbs (like basil or parsley) Finely chopped
  • 1 cup Sheese or other halal-friendly cheese
  • 2 cups Stock or broth For flavor enhancement
For the Beverages
  • 2 cups Fresh fruits (lemons, berries, or oranges) For infusion
  • 1 cup Herbs (mint or basil for infusion)
  • 4 cups Sparkling or still water
  • 1-2 tbsp Natural sweeteners (like honey or agave) To taste

Method

Preparing the Food
  1. Chop your fresh vegetables into bite-sized pieces for a colorful presentation.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add your chosen halal protein, cooking until browned and fully cooked through, about 7–10 minutes.
  3. Mix in the chopped vegetables and let them cook until soft, usually about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in your stock or broth and let it simmer to enhance the flavors.
Crafting the Beverages
  1. In a blender, combine fresh fruits with water and blend until smooth. Strain if you prefer a clearer drink.
  2. Adjust sweetness to taste with honey or agave, and add herbs for extra flavor.
  3. Pour the infusion over ice in a pitcher and garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of citrus.

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator. Cooked proteins can last 3-4 days, while beverages can be kept for up to three days in a sealed pitcher. Freezing options are available for some foods and fruit-infused drinks.
