Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the matcha powder with hot water. Whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm. For iced matcha, use cold milk straight from the refrigerator.
  3. Pour the matcha mixture into the warmed milk and add your preferred sweetener. Optionally, include flavored syrups.
  4. Stir well to combine the ingredients, and serve hot. For iced matcha, pour the mixture over ice and stir gently.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store in the refrigerator for up to a day; stir or re-whisk before consuming. Avoid freezing as it affects texture and flavor.
