Preparation
- Brew your coffee and let it cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process.
- Once cooled, add sugar or your preferred sweetener and stir until dissolved. If desired, add flavored syrups.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes, using large ice cubes or coffee ice cubes for a fun presentation.
Assembly
- Pour the cold coffee over the ice, filling the glass halfway.
- Add your choice of milk or non-dairy alternative to fill the glass to the top.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder or cinnamon if desired.
Optional Blending
- For a blended iced coffee, combine cooled coffee, ice, milk, and any additional flavors in a blender. Blend until smooth and serve.
Notes
Iced coffee is best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to two days. Freeze brewed coffee into ice cubes for longer-lasting iced coffee without dilution.
