- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and ground ginger. Cook for an additional 3–4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Serve the Korean beef over a bed of cooked rice.
- Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, and add any vegetables you like.
Notes
For a rich variation, add a soft-cooked or fried egg on top. For a low-carb option, serve in lettuce wraps.
