For the Milk Mixture
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) Use your preferred type of milk.
  • ½ cup heavy cream Can be substituted with a non-dairy alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor to the drink.
For Serving
  • Ice cubes To keep the drink chilled.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the sliced strawberries with sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their delicious juices.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a glass, add some ice cubes.
  4. Pour in the strawberry mixture, ensuring you capture all the lovely juices.
  5. Top it off with the milk mixture and stir gently.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

For variations, consider adding almond extract or a splash of coconut milk. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
