For the Drink
  • 2 large lemons, juiced Ensure to remove seeds.
  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced Reserve a few slices for garnish.
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves Muddle to release flavor.
  • 4 cups cold water or sparkling water Add sparkling water right before serving.
  • ¼ cup honey or agave syrup Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • Ice cubes For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Juice the lemons into a bowl or measuring cup, removing any seeds.
  2. In a large pitcher, add the fresh mint leaves and muddle using a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon.
  3. Add the thinly sliced cucumber to the pitcher.
  4. Pour in the lemon juice, add cold water or sparkling water, and sweeten with honey or agave syrup. Stir gently until fully combined.
Serving
  1. Chill the drink by adding ice cubes. For a smoother drink, blend the mixture and strain it through a fine mesh strainer.
  2. Serve over ice, garnished with reserved cucumber slices and a sprig of mint.

Notes

This drink can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days but is best enjoyed fresh. Prepare the lemon juice and muddled mint in advance for quicker serving.
