Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, minced garlic, and onion powder. Cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Drain excess grease and transfer the beef into the prepared 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Stir in the cooked, chopped bacon until evenly distributed.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper, and 3/4 of the shredded Cheddar cheese until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the meat and bacon in the casserole dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 of the cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden and the baked eggs are set.
- Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve garnished with parsley or green onions. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 2-3 months.
