Ingredients

Ice Cream Base
  • 2 cups heavy cream Use cold heavy cream for best results.
  • 1 cup whole milk Can substitute with low-fat milk, but may affect creaminess.
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar Ensure sugar is dissolved for smooth texture.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Can use pure vanilla extract for more flavor.
Mix-Ins
  • ½ cup fudge sauce Use store-bought or homemade fudge.
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered peanut butter cups, chopped Chop into smaller pieces for even distribution.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, typically about 20-25 minutes until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  3. In the last few minutes of churning, slowly drizzle in the fudge sauce and add the chopped peanut butter cups.
  4. Transfer your ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  5. Scoop and serve your Moose Tracks Ice Cream!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer to prevent ice crystals. Let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to soften. Can be made ahead of time; ice cream will last about 2-3 weeks in the freezer.
