No-Bake Patriotic Desserts

Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ cup melted butter
Filling
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 ½ cups whipped cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt or coconut whipped cream.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well blended.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a rectangular or square serving dish to form the crust.
Assembly
  1. Layer the sliced strawberries and blueberries evenly over the crust.
  2. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the berries, ensuring it is thick enough to mask the berries.
Chilling
  1. Place the dessert in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
  2. Decorate the top with additional berries right before serving.

Notes

This dessert can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Not advisable to freeze. Experiment with different berries like blackberries or raspberries for variations.
