- Wash the cucumbers and cherry tomatoes thoroughly. Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds or half-moons. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced mozzarella cheese.
- Tear fresh basil leaves into small pieces and add them to the bowl.
- Generously drizzle olive oil over the salad, followed by a splash of balsamic vinegar.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and gently toss all ingredients together until well-coated.
- Serve immediately while fresh.
Notes
