Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, crumble the feta cheese. Mix in your choice of fresh herbs and a touch of ground black pepper for added flavor.
- Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and lightly brush it with olive oil. For added flakiness, place another sheet on top.
- Cut the phyllo into strips, approximately 2-3 inches wide.
- Place a tablespoon of the feta mixture at one end of each strip and roll them up tightly, sealing the ends.
- Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and brush the tops with more olive oil.
Baking
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drizzle the spicy chili honey over the rolls right before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. You can also prepare and roll them ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze for later baking.
