Patriotic Oreo Balls

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for a smooth consistency.
  • 1 package white chocolate chips
  • Red and blue food coloring (for drizzling) Use to decorate the balls.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreo cookies by pulsing them in a food processor or blender until they turn into fine crumbs.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese and mix well until fully blended.
  3. Roll small portions of the mixture into balls about 1-inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Setting and Coating
  1. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in intervals of 30 seconds and stirring until smooth.
  3. Dip each chilled ball into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before placing them back on parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle red and blue food coloring over the chocolate-covered balls for decoration.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the chocolate harden.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months, separating layers with parchment paper.
