Method
Cooking the Potatoes
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). In a mixing bowl, toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well-coated. Air fry for 16-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Caramelizing the Onions
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and add olive oil. Add the diced onions and cook them slowly for 10-15 minutes until they are soft and golden brown.
Cooking the Beef
- In the same skillet, increase heat to medium-high. Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, and season with salt and pepper.
Making the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and Cajun seasoning until smooth.
Assembling the Bowls
- Add crispy potatoes to each serving bowl. Top with cooked beef and caramelized onions, sprinkle with cheese, and drizzle with the special sauce. Garnish with lettuce and optional toppings.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. You can freeze the individual components for longer storage. Reheat before serving and add fresh toppings.
