Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup almond flour Can substitute with oat flour if desired.
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup Use maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • ½ cup chopped fresh strawberries Frozen strawberries can be used if thawed and drained.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese and Greek yogurt. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  2. Add the rolled oats, almond flour, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped fresh strawberries, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to firm it up.
  5. Once chilled, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls.
  6. Store the protein balls in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

For flavor variations, try using almond or lemon extracts. You can also add chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra nutrition. If a smoother texture is preferred, pulse the rolled oats in a blender before mixing.
