Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional) Adds a tangy flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. In your blender, combine the watermelon, strawberries, and lime juice. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well-combined, creating a lovely puree. If you enjoy a bit of texture, consider pulsing the blender a few times instead of blending until completely smooth.
  2. Carefully pour the blended mixture into your popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion as they freeze. Make sure each mold is filled evenly.
  3. If your molds require it, insert sticks into the center of the mixture.
  4. Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the popsicles are completely solid.
  5. When ready to enjoy, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to help loosen the popsicles, then serve immediately.

Notes

These popsicles can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for 1-2 months, wrapped in plastic wrap or in a resealable plastic bag. Try adding fresh herbs like mint or basil for a twist.
