Ingredients
  

For the Gelatin Base
  • 1 cup water, divided (½ cup hot, ½ cup cold) ½ cup hot to dissolve gelatin and ½ cup cold to cool the mixture.
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin About 1 packet of Knox.
  • 1-2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar or freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional) Brightens flavor; use lemon for a brighter note.
  • 1 teaspoon honey or stevia (or sweetener of choice) Honey adds warmth; stevia is a low-calorie option.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Measure ½ cup of water and bring it to steaming, but not boiling.
  2. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin evenly across the surface of the hot water while stirring gently until dissolved.
  3. Stir in 1–2 teaspoons of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar and your desired sweetener.
  4. Pour in the cold ½ cup of water and stir to cool down the mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a glass baking dish or silicone molds.
  6. Refrigerate and chill for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  7. Once set, cut into cubes or unmold the jellies.

Notes

Gelatin cubes can be served plain or dressed up with fruits or cream. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
